- Makes 4 – 6 servings
- Ingredients
- 2 c. Water
- 2 Beef or chicken bouillon cubes
- 6 c. V-8 juice
- 3 Bay leaves
- 1 ½ t. Black pepper
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 c. chopped cabbage
- 16 oz. Frozen mixed vegetables
- 3 Potatoes, peeled & diced
- 1 T. salt
- Instructions
- Combine water, bouillon, V-8 juice, bay leaves, pepper, onions, and cabbage in a large sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Add mixed vegetables. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 ½ hours
- During last ½ hour, and potatoes and salt. Remove bay leaves and serve.
