Calvin Community is seeking a strong leader to oversee the clinical operations in Health Center, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living in the beautiful Beaverdale neighborhood.We are seeking a clinical director who promotes mentors and empowers the nursing team as they strive to provide the health and well-being of our residents in a compassionate and loving environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Leads the Director of Nursing in developing, executing, and monitoring clinical goals.Maintain current nursing policies and procedures that meet all regulatory requirements and ensure nursing care is delivered within the scope of practice, is of high quality, and meets the individual needs of those they serve.Ensures consistent and continuous regulatory compliance by maintaining awareness of both Federal and State regulations in all levels of care.Leads survey preparedness including mock surveys, annual surveys, and investigations.Assist with a plan of correction and follow up with education, audits, and monitoring.Develops and maintains a nursing service philosophy and related rules, standards, and practices; establishes systems for care planning, including assessments, plans of treatment, objectives and goals, evaluations, and discharge planning.Provides oversight and direction in establishing and maintaining a system for developing, reviewing, approving, and disseminating standards of care.Oversee med pass observations and delegation process, complete appropriate assessments for potential residents during the initial assessment, complete reviews to assure that all required documentation and assessments are completed in a timely manner, develop appropriate and timely Health Care Plans, and make recommendations/initiate transfer of residents as needed.Direct quality improvement programs and ensure standards of practice are met.Participate in strategic planning related to clinical operations.Establishes and maintains high visibility and good working relationships with networks and coalitions of the national organizations.Qualification, Knowledge, and Skills:BA/BS in Nursing required. At least ten years of experience in Long Term Care and Assisted Living operations is required. Health care administration is a plus. Knowledge of State and Federal regulatory requirements in Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living including in-depth knowledge in Medicare & Medicaid programs and regulatory oversight.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Computer proficiency including MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
